When Miley celebrated her 17th birthday with a Rock of Ages-inspired party, rumors inevitably cropped up that the Hannah Montana star might be appearing in the big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. And although it would be totally cool to see the starlet let her hair loose and belt out some Mr. Big, Poison and Journey, the film’s director, Adam Shankman, says it isn’t going to happen. “It’s way too soon,” Adam, who also directed Miley’s mega-crush Zac Efron in Hairspray, said yesterday when asked about the casting of his upcoming flick.
