Brad & Angelina Want To Protect You … With Snakes!

Would you spend $525 to wear Angie’s snake?

The do-gooder duo, Brangelina, thinks you will — they’ve created a capsule collection of snake-inspired jewelry for Asprey of London, with all net sales proceeds going to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict – cofounded in 2006 by Angie – a foundation created to educate child victims of war, natural disasters, and other unfortunate upbringings.

The limited edition collection, called “The Protector,” will incorporate gold jewelry and silver accessories including bracelets, earrings, and necklaces — up for sale later this week at Asprey stores in London, NYC, LA, Tokyo, and Dubai.  This is the second jewelry collaboration for Brad, who co-designed pieces for Italian jeweler Damiani.

Snakes don’t sound too appealing?  Apparently Jolie was gifted with a ring during her pregnancy with daughter Shiloh, now 3, and has since thought of the reptile as a protector for her family.

Brangelina declined commentary on the collection, but instead discussed the charity in a statement to WWD, saying: “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place — to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”
