Miley Cyrus Slams “New Moon” — “I Don’t Like Vampires, Don’t Want Anything to Do With It!”
Hey MiCy, are you jealous that Kristen, Robert, Taylor, and the rest of the crew are more famous than you — this week?
The gloves are off! Miley Cyrus dissed New Moon big-time yesterday on the radio, proclaiming she doesn’t like vampires or “any of the stuff” associated with the movies — and she saves a special diss for Taylor Lautner, “the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night.”
Here’s how Miley mauled New Moon, word for bloody word —
“I’ve never seen [Twilight], and nor will I ever. I don’t believe in it—I don’t believe in it. I don’t like vampires, I don’t like any of the stuff, like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I feel like it’s seriously, like, people really like get into it maybe because it’s like people always fall in love with the characters I don’t like it, I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts, any of it.”
Bitter Miley even takes a swipe at the fan mania, saying she doesn’t “want anything to do it … the shirts, any of it.” Check out how shocked the DJ, Q92′s Nikolina, is when Miley puts the smackdown on the vampires.
But Miley, you’re not alone: HollywoodLife.com commenter natalyasieling thinks vampire movies are lame, too: “Not a fan of vampire movies,” she tells us. Natalya and Miley, you’re totally entitled to your opinion.

I love vampire books, especially Anne Rice’s series The Vampire Chronicles, I think the Twilight series is lame and slow and boring, but I’m an old reader, Dracula is more exciting.

I really think the whole twilight craze is ridiculous. One, because the whole story is mary sue ish and 2 it promotes relationship abuse and Sexism. I atleast have a reason to not like twilight.

Oops. Not the best business move. Ms. Cyrus has a movie coming out with Greg Kinnear soon. It’s usually not a good idea to start slamming another movie when you’re about to release your own. Bet her producers are not too happy right about now…
