Leighton Meester — Adrian Grenier Wants to Kidnap You!
We see a lot of Leighton Meester in Adrian Grenier’s future. Last night, the Gossip Girl rocked out at the opening of American Eagle in Times Square — and Adrian was ready to get her on his team! We asked the Entourage star about his Thanksgiving plans, and he revealed he will be going to upstate New York to work on his music. “I’m spending Thanksgiving in upstate New York recording with my band. I’ll be with the family … The [Honey] Brothers. Maybe I will throw Leighton over my shoulder and bring her Upstate with me.” Lucky girl!
Leighton’s pals and co-stars like Michelle Trachtenberg, Jessica Szohr, and Matthew Settle showed up to watch her play at the opening. Even Pete Wentz was there deejaying — and tweeted, that he was “stoned to death. Don’t know how the press is going to take this.” Whatever, Pete, you put on some good tracks while you were stoned!
But despite all the celeb support and cheering from fans, most of the party-goers were less than impressed with Leighton’s musical talents. ”Her performance wasn’t that great,” said one guest. But they love you on Gossip Girl Leighton! Everyone we talked to thought you should definitely “stick to acting.”
