OMG, Regis! You Are The Only One Who’s Never Heard of New Moon!
Regis Philbin must have been shocked to see the stampede of fans who followed Robert Pattinson from the Today show to ABC studios for Live With Regis & Kelly … considering he says today was the first time he’s hear of Twilight!!
Today, Regis asked R-Patz, “Have you gone all over the world? Because this is a global event.” Rob told the host he and his New Moon cast he’s been to Tokyo, Munich, Frankfurt, and Regis asked, “do the young people over there know you?”
R-Patz says, “Regis it’s huge! You don’t understand,” to which the host jokingly responds, “Because I just read about it today.” Lucky hosts Regis and Kelly Ripa scored a two-segment interview with the SUPER hot megastar, where R-Patz talked fans, the Vampire craze, and of course, Kristen Stewart.
On His Fans: “At the end of the press tour, I’m sort of running on fumes, but it is nice when everyone sceams early in the morning. Sort of wakes you up!”
On Why Women Love Vampires: “The biting (laughs). I don’t know, I had no idea this whole craze went on … that this obsession went on … until I was a part of it. I’m still trying to figure it out.”
On Filming With K-Stewt: “I wanted to make an American film. I kind of I liked the idea of it and I like Kristen. [The tension between the characters] definitely kind of becomes more intense in the next movie.”
