But, he says, “you don’t want the cut and color to be too literal — in other words, don’t say, ‘dye it jet black and give me a mullet.’ Instead, for the non-Rock Star girls, ask your hairdresser to leave your hair longer than your collarbone, contour the layers to chin level and cut your bangs on a sexy angle so it covers half of your forehead.”
A suggestion from Edward Tricomi, co-owner of the Warren-Tricomi salons: “You want to go all the way with this look to pull it off. Try dressing like a rocker and doing your makeup like one too.”
