Exclusive! Robert Pattinson Can’t Get Into His Own Party!
Poor RPatz couldn’t attend his own NYC premiere party because de was deemed too much of a security threat — to himself!
According to an insider, when the studly Brit’s security detail saw the throngs of giddy Twi-hards surrounding downtown hot spot The Box on Thursday night, they told him the bash was a no-go.
Says our source at the Dolce & Gabbana/AriZona sponsored fete, “Rob’s security said that The Box was too crowded -– inside and out –- and hence, a supposed ‘security threat’ to a very sensitive boy. It was strange because there was an entire portion of the upstairs balcony set aside for him, but he wasn’t allowed to hang there!”
Adds the insider, “Everyone was so disappointed and upset. They were all there to see Rob -– he was the featured attraction!”
Instead, Robert carted himself out to one of his favorite NYC haunts, Meatpacking District staple SoHo House, here he chilled out in the pool room before joining his leading lady Kristen Stewart at the West Chelsea nightclub Avenue.
Thankfully Avenue wasn’t so dangerous for Rob -– he had KStew to keep him safe!
