Alicia Keys, your blue shadow stood out against a sea of smokey-eyed ladies!
Not only did Alicia sing Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” at the American Music Awards on Nov. 22, she also did a makeup homage to Ol’ Blue Eyes with her gorgeous cobalt shadow. The striking color pops against her skin — definitely proving that this hue shouldn’t be relegated to 80’s theme parties. Alicia’s makeup artist, Ashunta Sheriff used the Dior 5-Colour Palette in Mystic Jade. “I used the darker shade of blue first then applied the teal blue on top creating a radiant saphire shade that really made Alicia’s eyes pop,” Ashunta says.To get this look you don’t have to go as bold as Alicia, try out a softer shade of light blue for an equally stunning eye. -Marta Topran
