Come on.The Osmonds are so fake. I loved watching Kelly grow. She was famous cause of her dad. Nothing else. Donny was chosen because of his sister. Kelly Put her best foot foward. The show is rigged

The sad thing is that people forget this is a show about DANCING, not a personality or popularity contest. You can love Kelly’s growth and warm fuzzy charm, you can love Donny’s showmanship, but what about their dance ability and ability to master and perform the steps of routine, their ability to dance in tune to the music, and the characteristics of good dancing. Those things should have been the priority, and clearly, they were not. Donny Osmond should not have even been in the final. He simply did not deserve to be based on his DANCING TECHNIQUES and ABILITY!!!! In addition, if he had a personal coach prior to the competition, then he is just a cheater!!

Holiday Greetings:
Although I’d been in Mya’s corner all the way through to the end; I must admit, after the freestyle; I found myself hoping that Donny would take home the trophy. For a man of 51, (I believe he is) and perform the way he does…well, he sure gets my vote.
Mya did an outstanding job. To bad she could not have shared the trophy with Donny.
Although I admired Kelly for all the hard work she put into her dance routines, you know Louie Van Amstel, her partner had his work cut out for him. I was amazed that she ended up in the finals and that Derek and his partner (Sorry, I forgot her name) went home. She was far better than Kelly.
Let’s face it though…all of these dancing and singing programs, like “American Idol” are more of a popularity contest than anything else. Talent definately goes with the vote…but it is who the fans like the most that get the votes.
Say what you will about Donny but he worked his backside off all the way through the show. He earned the mirror ball with his freestyle and his tango at the end.
Dimitry and Mya lost it because he (being the pro) thought he knew better than Mya (who is also a pro in her own right in the entertainment industry) and thought that the ‘Shampoo’ routine would take home the trophy.
Two suggestions for “DWTS”. Next season, do NOT broadcast it opposite of “SYTYCD”. I was going back and forth on these two shows, missing out on a lot of the programing from the two of them.
Also, remember that it is called “Dancing With the Stars”. Next season, bring on the ’stars’…not someone like Macy Grey and George Hamilton’s son who had two left feet. Come on, already. We know they’re going to get voted off soon. Bring on some real talent next go-around.
I’m already looking forward to next season.
