Lindsay, You Seem So Happy At Home With Your Family … Minus Your Dad
Lindsay Lohan is in Long Island with her mom Dina, sister Ali, brothers and grandma for the Thanksgiving weekend — and she sounds like a very happy version of her usually unnerved self! Lindsay was tweeting all through Thanksgiving dinner last night, telling fans about her meal: “turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, salad and everything on repeat! Also chocolate cake!”
Lindsay even referred to a “family portrait” of ” just the girls mummy and ali.” Of course, Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan was nowhere to be found during the family get together. One LiLo pal told us, “Not one of the kids would speak to him. Dina tried to make it the most normal Turkey Day for everyone.”
The disgruntled dad — who reportedly owes over $15,000 in back child support — has spent the past several months insisting his daughter needs to go to rehab, and selling tapes of his ex-wife and Lindsay crying to him on the phone. Close friends of Lindsay insist that she and her father “have no relationship” and that he is “a terrible force in her life.”
But Michael was not on Lindsay’s mind last night! She joked around saying , “I’m thankful for my fans and friends and family! And Karl Lagerfeld/CHANEL and Ungaro.” She even referred to her sobriety: “Gravy is yummy! Now im having a soda … ahhhhhh Coca-Cola is refreshing sometimes.”
Dina said yesterday, “Lindsay is making the garlic mashed potatoes. They are amazing!”
To wrap up her meal, the cheerful starlet said, “I am stuffed … been busy eating and napping to wear off the fullNESS. Hope everyone’s having a lovely family thanksgiving!”
