Would You Buy Kim Kardashian’s Tweet?

Trust us…celebs have sold much stranger things before!

Get this! Our girl Kim Kardashian is selling off a tweet! Yes, that’s right: 140 characters that usually go for free. Confused? So were we!

Kim tweeted Tuesday afternoon, “I’m auctioning off a Happy Birthday tweet to benefit @uNcleRUSH’s Diamond Empowerment Fund http://bit.ly/5ZeTpu bidding closes 2morrow!!”

Kim’s not the only Kardashian auctioning items for a good cause! Her younger sis Khloe also tweeted on Tuesday about an apron she’s selling in support of World Aids Day. “Who likes to cook?!??? Win my signed apron here: http://tinyurl.com/yzesyu2,” she wrote.

Although it might seem crazy to sell a tweet (we’re cool with the apron) celebs have definitely auctioned off much stranger items! Justin Timberlake once let a radio station sell his leftover French toast on eBay after an interview for more than $3,000!

It gets weirder still. After blowing her nose on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2008, Scarlett Johansson allowed him to sell the tissue on eBay. The used snot-rag brought in a whopping $5,300. We’ve never heard of so much good coming from a stuffy nose!

Scarlett’s mucus might have been expensive, but listen to this! A clump of what was believed to be Elvis Presley’s hair sold for $15,000 this fall, which more than pays for that hair cut. (Hehe. We crack ourselves up.)

At least we know Kim’s just trying to help out a good cause!
