Ho! Ho! Ho! Lady O’s First Holiday Host Look!

‘Tis the season for gorgeous gowns and Michelle you didn’t disappoint in turquoise!

Wow! Michelle Obama has taken to the First Lady holiday challenge- how to look seasonal and not blend in with the White House holiday decorations. She pulled it off in a silk moiré dress and drop earrings as she hosted the first of a mega-glut of holiday events on December 3, 2009. Can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve this season!

The First Lady commanded the room when she spoke alongside members of the US Marine Corps and representatives from Toys for Tots but it wasn’t just her jewel-toned look that was completely decked out. It took the East Wing and Residence staff plus 92 volunteers from 24 states over 3,400 hours to decorate the White House for the holidays. Now that’s serious style!
