Golfer Who Introduced Tiger & Elin — Totally Embarrassed!

120309_tiger_jesper_Post_544_wide

Elin Nordegren’s former boss, Swedish PGA champion Jesper Parnevik says, he wishes that Tiger and Elin [Nordgren] had never met.  And he thinks it’s all his fault!

Jesper and his wife Mia Parnevik are the ones who introduced Elin and Tiger eight years ago, when she and her sister Josefin both worked as a nanny for their family. “I really feel sorry for Elin – since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him,” Jesper told The Golf Channel. “We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her.”

Poor guy! Jesper even considers Elin part of his family. He does say, “It’s a private thing. But when you are the guy he is, the world’s best athlete, you should think more before you do stuff.” Uh, yeah!

If you are one of the fans who feel like you were misled, take note. Even Tiger’s closest friends were duped.

I’m glad I read the article. I thought Jesper was “totally embarrassed” about that hat. The Tiger thing makes much more sense. Glad there’s some context.
