The duo spent an adorable night about town in Los Angeles!

After a work day together on their film Valentine’s Day, the lovey dovey duo had a date. And we’re not sure what’s cuter: the two Taylors’ hitting the town in L.A. last night, December 3, 2009 or the fact that Swift’s mom, Andrea, chaperoned!

First the two Taylors—Swift, 19, and Lautner, 17—did dinner at Japanese restaurant Benihana and then dessert at Menchie’s Yogurt. Although the country singer and her New Moon cutie looked cozy they had little privacy: besides mom and their bodyguards trailing, they were followed by frenzied fans!

Never one to disappoint a crowd, the thoughtful couple paused their romantic night to take pictures and sign autographs.

Earlier that day, the two were filmed reshoots for their 2010 romantic comedy Valentine’s Day—in which they play a popular high school couple. The day together was a reunion for the busy couple: Lautner has been promoting New Moon around the world while Swift is in the midst of a 50-date world tour and just snagged eight Grammy nods this week!
