Bored with all the same old holiday traditions? Then take a page out of Jennifer Aniston’s book, because she’s got a pretty novel idea.
Every year, Jen throws a tree-trimming party for her best girlfriends. That’ll get you in the spirit, especially if there are spirits involved!
“I love the holidays. It’s not a stressful time for me at all,” Jen confided Thursday night at yoga instructor Mandy Ingber’s Yogalosophy DVD launch in LA Thursday. She added, “I just have a really good time, I have fun.”
In fact, Jen has such a thing for trees that – not only is she buying her own Christmas tree tonight – but her favorite yoga pose is – wait for it – the tree pose! Yeah, we didn’t know what that was, either, but learn how to do it here.
For Jen, the holidays are clearly a time for friendship and camaraderie, which was on full display at the bash she co-hosted with Self Magazine’s Lucy Danziger at the Sunset Towers. Although bestie Courteney Cox was MIA (she was back on the set of Cougartown) and Sheryl Crow was singing her heart out for the Obamas in DC, pals Chelsea Handler and Jenny McCarthy arrived arm-in-arm and downed vodka cocktails in the corner.
But we know who Jen is definitely going to have by her side at her tree party this weekend. “Mandy and I have been friends for 20 years,” she said. By the looks of it, they’ll be friends for 20 more!
