How long have things been going downhill for Billy Joel’s 23-year-old daughter? It appears that Alexa Ray Joel, who allegedly attempted suicide on Saturday afternoon, has been feeling sick and unhappy for quite some time.
The young singer cancelled an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Sep. 25th when she was hit with a mystery illness.
“Alexa Ray Joel was supposed to be here today but she’s got a very bad something or other. She was supposed to sing,” the talk show host said.
Alexa eventually DID reschedule her appearance on the show, and warbled her single, “Invisible” on Oct. 21st.
Are the lyrics to Alexa’s song any indication of how she was feeling?
