The Blind Side was #1 at the box office! Girls rule 3 weeks in a row!

Sandra Bullock, 45, is the new box office champ: The Blind Side racked up $20.4 million this weekend, pushing New Moon out of the top spot. Go Sandra!

This is the third week in a row that ladies have ruled Hollywood. New Moon and The Blind Side both came out Thanksgiving weekend, and New Moon took the top spot in receipts for two weeks before being edged out.

So far, Sandra’s critically acclaimed drama has made $129.2 million. Not bad for a movie about an over-40 mom!

New Moon is still doing just fine—Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that the total North American gross stands at $255.6 million–and the movie cost $50 million to make. That’s a lot of dough by anyone’s standards!

Critics have LOVED Sandra’s performance in this movie—she really is on an upswing! Her last big movie, The Proposal, made $13 million at the box office its third weekend out, and its overall take was $164 million. The Blind Side is poised to beat that total by a long shot.

Keep it coming, Sandy!
