Heath Ledger’s Last Premiere — No Family at the Show

None of Heath Ledger’s family were at the NYC Premiere of his final movie!

Michelle Williams, we realize you’ve gone through some very tough past years after the sudden loss of Heath Ledger — your late fiancé and daddy to your 4-year-old little girl Matilda Rose — who tragically overdosed on prescription drugs Jan. 22, 2008. But, we were just wondering why Heath’s family went unrepresented at a premiere screening of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, on Dec. 7 at The Crosby Hotel in NYC

Not only is this Heath’s final screen debut — he tragically died during filming, before the movie was completed. Terry Gilliam, director and co-writer of the film, re-wrote the script after Heath died,  casting three major actors, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law, to fill his spot.

But neither Heath’s father, mother, or pals were in attendance at the premiere. – Chloe Melas
