BREAKING STORY! TLC Wins — Jon Gosselin Can’t Do TV Until April, At Least!
UPDATE! Jon Gosselin didn’t show up to court today and he ended up losing the TLC court case after all!
Jon Gosselin, it pays to be present at your own court hearing! TLC won in the breach of contract suit today, Dec. 10 against the reality tv dad.
A judge ruled that Jon will have to stop making media appearances (and making money off them) that are at odds with his TLC contract — at least until April 19, when an actual trail on the matter is scheduled to begin.
An eyewitness at the Montgomery County Md. courthouse, “Jon’s a no show. The nerve of this guy!”
Despite Jon’s attorney Mark Heller’s optimistic comments to us Dec. 10 — it seems he couldn’t have been more off point, “I feel extremely optimistic that we will definitely prevail in court.”
Our insider on the scene told us earlier today that TLC was making an excellent case against Jon, and clearly they did.
According to RadarOnline.com, TLC’s CEO Edward Sabin took the stand, and blasted Jon for hanging out with women at an MGM pool party in Vegas this past August, “It made the show look bad. Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show,” says Edward.
It looks as though Mark’s predictions were wrong, and things aren’t looking too good for this Gosselin. — Chloe Melas
