Sarah Palin, You Totally Got Revenge On William Shatner Last Night On “Conan!”
What did you think of Sarah’s turn as a comedian?
William Shatner appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien last night to read excerpts from Sarah Palin‘s Going Rogue in his typical dramatic fashion. But he was joined by a surprising (and hilarious) guest — the author, Sarah Palin, herself! And she got the last laugh by reading a few carefully selected parts from Shatner’s autobiography, Until Now.
She read about Shatner’s first experience at a Star Trek convention, cleverly mocking his love of puns. (He says the money they offered him to attend was “out of this world.”) Then she moved on to jabbing sections in his book about “T.J. Hooker” and a bizarre story about visiting an elephant in his underwear.
Shatner’s been on Conan’s show quite a bit recently, playfully reciting quotes from Palin’s Twitter and from her speeches — but this took things to a whole new level.
