EXCLUSIVE DETAILS! Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift Celebrate Their Big Nights Separately — But Reconnect in Nashville
On Saturday, Dec. 12, Taylor Lautner hosted SNL while his gal pal, Taylor Swift, celebrated her 20th birthday in Nashville. Unfortunately for the two lovebirds, neither could be with the other on their big nights!
Don’t you hate it when you have a really important event and your respective other can’t make it? That’s exactly what happened to Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, who were forced to celebrate their big events this week alone!
The toothy twosome finally had a chance to catch up on all the other had missed out on Dec. 14, when they had a cute catch-up lunch at Nashville’s Pancake Pantry. Although the Twilight Saga: New Moon star couldn’t make his lady love’s 20th birthday fete the previous day due to work commitments, we still think he made up for it by romantically flying to her side!
His work commitment this week was a big one, too! Taylor L. hosted SNL, where he totally killed it as he jokingly defended his girlfriend’s honor by punching a cardboard cutout of Kanye West!
Later in the evening Saturday, Taylor still played the good boyfriend, behaving himself completely at the SNL afterparty at NYC’s swanky sushi restaurant Matsuri. He quietly tucked into a sirloin steak and kept close to his family until bedtime at 2:30 am.
His girl was never far from his mind, though. “Guests kept on bringing up Taylor’s birthday, but he just smiled knowingly and kept mum,” a party insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He was so lovely. People kept coming up to his table to congratulate him – everyone from Seth Meyers to Andy Samberg to Jon Bon Jovi – and he was just so nice and humble, hugging everyone. He was unwinding, not going crazy at all.”
We know why — he was saving the real celebrating for when he saw his lady!
