Jennifer Lopez, We Love Your Allure Cover!
Jennifer Lopez is back and flaunting her stuff in the January issue of Allure magazine.
The new mom (who showed up to the shoot with 5-inch Louboutins on and a baby on each hip) has a lot to be thankful for. She’s got a brand new album, Love? coming out in January and a rom-com romp, The Back-Up Plan due out in March.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Latina beauty in the spotlight since she gave birth to her two adorable twins Max and Emme last year but she’s ready to be back where she belongs. “I was always in gymnastics and winning medals, or in track winning trophies, or in softball, or in shows as one of the top five girls. I was always getting noticed. And I liked it. I liked it,” Jennifer tells Allure.
But Jennifer hasn’t always been such a fan of her intense paparazzi following, “It’s cool for a while. You’re happy because it’s a part of knowing you’re successful … and then, finally, it becomes destructive.”
So, how does the triple threat keep up her fly girl physique? “Part of my business is about being in shape and looking good. You can’t lie to yourself about it. But I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department. You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids… you’re kind of unmotivated. You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the leas amount to maintain that. I’m a big portion-control person,” Jennifer admits.
Want to get Jennifer’s cover look? “I wanted to do a tawny, bronzy look,” says makeup artist Scott Barnes who created her gorgeous look.
