Kate Hudson Cancels New Year’s Plans in Miami to Avoid A-Rod!
Wouldn’t you want a fresh start on New Years? Well, so does Kate Hudson, which is why she plans on celebrating somewhere that doesn’t remind her of her recent ex!
Kate Hudson and A-Rod had originally planned to spend a romantic New Year’s together in Miami, but since the couple took a trip to Splitsville a couple weeks ago, the vacay has been called off!
The former lovebirds had scheduled outings at hot spots throughout the beach city, but Kate backed out of all plans.
“Obviously that’s not happening now—she canceled! She canceled everything; she’s not going to Miami at all. Alex is probably still going, and no doubt will be flirting up a storm—as he usually does,” a Miami insider dished to Life and Style Weekly.
However, one source close to the couple says A-Rod will be sensitive to Kate while he’s in Miami. “They broke up more than two weeks ago, but A-Rod didn’t want to say anything during Kate’s Nine press appearances. He wanted to let her handle it since this is her time,” the source explained.
We hope he sticks to that motto! And as for Kate, we hope she finds a nice, normal guy that’s NOT a player to cuddle up with come New Year. Remember Kate, the old adage says that the guy you spend New Year’s with will be the most important guy in your life for the rest of the year – so choose wisely!
