Rihanna kicks butt in her latest music video, “Hard”, and it looks like she’s thinking of YOU, Chris!
Take that, Chris Brown. Rihanna‘s latest music video, “Hard”, premiered Dec. 17 and she sings her heart out with a vengeance. Set in a war zone, Rihanna is the general of the camp, more powerful than ever and coming out fighting.
Seriously, this video is INTENSE. Things are blowing up, there’s fire and hot military men everywhere. Rihanna clearly wants us to know that she’ll be more than fine. In fact, she’s ready to take prisoners AND names.
“They can say whatever, I’ma do whatever. No pain is forever. Yup, you know this. Tougher than a lion, aint’ no need in tryin’. I live where the sky ends. Yup, you know this,” she sings.
And if that’s not enough to reassure you, she reiterates how tough she is … over, and over and over again.
“That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. So hard, so hard, so hard, so hard.”
Pretty much every song on her album is a visceral reaction to Chris, while everything on his album is an apology to her. Obviously, she wins this battle. He blew up her heart, and now she’s ready blow up the world.
