Hey NYU students — The Brit’s still in a snit over your spying!
If you thought Jude Law might apologize for flinging fruit at NYU freshmen after he caught them spying on his yoga workouts, it’s elementary, Watson — no chance! At the Sherlock Holmes premiere in NYC on Dec. 17, Jude told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he was definitely “a bit upset” when he discovered that NYU students were snooping and snapping pics in a dorm across the street from his downtown pad. “They were spying on me when I was with the kids and working out,” said Jude. “It got to where I truly felt like [they were] peeping Toms. Where I come from, peeping Toms have things thrown at them.”
Bad news for NYU students: Jude was peeved. Good news: He was only armed with oranges and apples, which he chucked at the snoopers’ windows. “They were lucky I’d run out of eggs,” Jude admitted..
Jude might laugh it off now as “all in good fun,” but one NYU student, Amanda Katz, told us back on Nov. 20 that she could see her dorm’s windows “fall and smash … it was so loud and it was really scary.” Hope you learned at least one thing during your freshman year of college, Amanda: Next time, try not to drool out your window on top of Jude! — Chloe Melas
