According to sources, you mended Brittany’s broken heart after she was dumped by her 8 Mile co-star Eminem. You even introduced her to your family (who loved her, of course) and pretty soon there were rumors about your possible engagement! “I like everything about her,” you told told People in Feb. 2003. “She’s the total package.”
But the spark flickered out just a few months later and in April 2003, your publicist confirmed your split to the magazine. You showed up separately at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on April 12, but were reportedly friendly when you bumped into each other backstage. Eyewitnesses at the event described you as “really cute” together, and the cuteness didn’t end there! You and Brittany had some fun at LA hot spot Joseph’s Cafe, where more onlookers say you two were dance-flirting. Still, your rep denied that you were back together.
