Leann Rimes and Dean Sheremet Reach a Mature Divorce Settlement
Are you sad that Leann and her hubby are officially done, or are you glad they’re finally able to move on?
Leann Rimes and hubby Dean Sheremet are so ready for their marriage to be over. On the very same day – Dec. 18 – that Dean filed for divorce, the two reached a confidential divorce settlement in a Los Angeles court, according to People.
“The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy,” the document reads.
The settlement was reached just three months after the two announced their separation; they had been married for almost eight years. Their marriage will be officially over and done with on June 19, 2010.
Dean is seeking “irreconcilable differences”, due in part to Leann’s alleged affair with her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian, and is asking for spousal support.
