It looks like Mike Fisher is an expert when it comes to ice, and we aren’t referring to the hockey rink—just check out the size of the sparkler on his fiancés finger!
Carrie Underwood showed off her brand-new bling on Monday night, Dec. 21, in Ottawa while routing for her guy. Hockey fans may have been focused on the game, but we were more interested in the blinding bling on her finger—it’s almost the size of a hockey puck! Since we were dying to know more about Carrie’s mega-huge rock, we consulted some experts to get the scoop.
David Mamane, CEO of MyJewelryBox.com, says the ring is a 12-13 carat round brilliant cut in the VVS1 range ( apparently one of the best clarities of a diamond), “It’s simple, classic, elegant and traditional, for the amount of carats and type of cut, Mike Fisher definitely got her an expensive ring.”
Mamane was able to determine the carat size based on the fact that the ring was larger than her finger (15 mm in diameter).
Jay Carlile, from Martin Katz, says the ring looks like it’s definitely at least five carats: “pro athletes are all about the size.” Hmmm! lucky Carrie.
So, how much would a sparkler of this size cost? Mamane told Hollywood Life that he estimates the ring cost 1.3 million dollars!
Not too shabby, Mike!!

How can the appraisers be sure it’s a real diamond from the phtograph? 1.3 million seems like a lot for an engagement ring. If a person insisted on spending that amount it would be more logical to spend it on the wedding, including the ring. A ring is no guarantee of marriage. This guy is too easy.

It would have been sick if she did Beyonce’s Single Ladies hand movements while showing it off. Ughh why don’t people think like me.
1.3 million!!! That’s a house. Holy crapadoodle. I hope drop down her bathroom sink. Oh wait, it’s probably too big to even get stuck. Sigh..

OMG that thing is as big as her finger. DAMNNNNNNNN I don’t think I’d ever want a ring that big. You could probably see that thing from space. Ridiculous
