Taylor Momsen Just Wants To Be Taken Seriously! Have You Ever Felt Like She Does?
Are you tired of everyone telling you you’re too young to be taking seriously?
Taylor Momsen says she’s sick of people reminding her that she’s only 16! The Gossip Girl actress and rocker told Seventeen magazine, “I think people don’t really take me seriously because I’m 16. And they think most 16-year-olds don’t know what they want to do. But I actually really do, because I’ve been thinking about it since I was [two-years-old].”
And just like most teenagers, Taylor admits, “I am angsty. I’ll be angsty until I’m 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you’re figuring s*** out, and I don’t know why that’s a negative thing.”
As the lead singer of her band The Pretty Wreckless, Taylor admits, “I love working. I’m a workaholic, and no one believes it. I’m in the recording studio until three in the morning.”

She needs to chill out and start taking more showers. Just because you use swear words during interviews doesn’t mean you’re a hard body. Slow your roll..

She’ll understand when she grows up and realizes how absurd it is to expect to be taken seriously at 16.
