Which Celeb Would You Love To Have As A Parent?

I can think of a handful of stars in Hollywood I’d like to call mom or dad but Jennifer Garner is on the top of that list — hands down!

Just check out these latest shots of the actress with daughter Seraphina (who turns 1 on Jan. 6) over the weekend! There’s a reason why her kids are always incredibly happy and flashing those dimples (which, of course, came from their mom) … they’ve got one of the most caring moms in the world.

More than just good genes, Seraphina and her older sister, 4-year-old Violet, have a superstar mom who’s mastered the balancing act of work and home life. When she’s not on set, you’ll find Jen dropping off and picking up V at school in Santa Monica — yes, without a nanny or bodyguard like other “regular” moms! — then sometimes treating her to frozen yogurt or cupcakes for an afternoon snack. Um, I’m there.

Sweets aside, Jen feeds her family quality food by going to the local farmer’s market, where she’s frequently been spotted picking up fresh fruit, veggies and flowers. Not to mention, she even makes eating those dreaded greens yummy. “One healthy snack that I love to make at home is a smoothie with spinach,” the busy mom told People in September. “You use a banana, a bunch of mango and a huge handful of spinach … [the kids] don’t taste the spinach at all.”

But I’m most impressed with Jen’s smart fashion choices. On the red carpet, she nails it every time (just think about the killer couture closet Violet and Seraphina have access too – Oscar de la Renta galore!) but for everyday wear she keeps it reasonable and simple — tennis shoes, jeans and a tee are her staples. Oh, and she’s almost always sans makeup — a rarity in Hollywood.

And did I mention that Jen really got into the Halloween spirit last year by dressing up with Violet as Fred & Ted? A mom who’s willing to put on a full furry costume, along with some doggie ears and legs, for a round of trick or treating means that she’ll do just about anything for her kids.

Yet another reason why I wouldn’t mind joining the Garner-Affleck fam (oh yeah, and having Ben Affleck as a dad doesn’t hurt, either)!

I’d say Hugh Jackman but I wouldn’t want him as my dad…

Jennifer Garner seems like a sweet person. She’s probably an awesome mother.
