Whitney Port Celebrated Christmas With Family, Friends … And Fajitas?!
Have you ever started a new holiday tradition just for the heck of it?
Even though Whitney Port is Jewish and doesn’t technically celebrate Christmas, she wanted to make sure she wasn’t left out of the holiday festivities this year. So while some of her pals were eating pot roast and drinking eggnog, The City starlet decided to put her own personal stamp on Dec. 25 — by making it into Fajita Fiesta night!
“This year [my family and I] started a new tradition and had Fajita Fiesta night at my house,” Whitney, 23, wrote on her blog. “It was so nice to have my whole family and my brother in law’s family together!”
Unfortunately, there weren’t any pinatas or sombreros lying around the house (also disappointingly lacking was any form of ‘pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey’). Instead, Whit decorated with colorful ornaments, lights and candles.
Just how much did the reality star pitch in with the holiday cooking? “Prepping for fajita fiesta night … and by prepping, I mean reading the ingredients/directions to the port chefs,” she tweeted Christmas Eve.
Apparently you’re better at whipping up cute outfits than you are at gourmet dishes, Whit. No matter what, though, we still applaud you for test-driving a new holiday tradition!
