Charlie, you’re off the hook for now … prosecutors say it’s likely you won’t be charged for your domestic abuse case until February 8, 2010
Two and Half Men star Charlie Sheen has less than two and half months to enjoy his freedom, because prosecutors said today, Dec. 28, that he won’t find out until early next year whether he’ll be charged or not for his recent domestic abuse scandal. Charlie’s wife, 32-year-old Brooke Mueller, called 911 after the 44-year-old actor allegedly choked and threatened her with a knife during a dispute on Christmas Eve in Aspen. The comedian certainly wasn’t laughing when he was arrested Christmas morning on suspicion of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief. According to the Huffington Post, Charlie would be affected most by the menacing charge, which entails prison for two to eight years and a fine of between $2,000-$500,000. Read more
