“The Situation” claims publicists set the whole thing up.

When we saw photos of Kristin Cavallari partying with the cast of “Jersey Shore” (and licking Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino‘s abs!) we assumed there was a lot of love between the two MTV hits — but “The Situation” says otherwise. “Somebody called our publicist in LA and said, ‘The girls from ‘The Hills’ want to sit next to you guys in a club,’” he tells In Touch Weekly. “As soon as we walked in, I saw some girl running at me. That happens a lot to us, so we didn’t know who it was. She almost tackled me, and I went, ‘Oh, she’s kind of cute.’ Then I looked up and it was Kristin Cavallari.
