The Duggar’s Dream Came True ... The Mega-Family Will Be Together This Christmas!

Can you imagine how hard it is to bring a family with 19 children together for the holidays?

The hospital where Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar‘s 19th child, Josie, remains in the NICU is more than 200 miles from the Duggar home in Tontitown, Ark., and there was little hope that the massive family was going to be together for the holidays. Thanks to one kind Little Rock family who’s opening their doors to the entire clan, everyone —even baby Josie—can spend Christmas as a family. Josie Duggar was born prematurely Dec. 10 and weighed merely one-and-a-half pounds. Thankfully, both she and her mom are doing well. “Josie is 2-weeks-old today,” Jim Bob told PEOPLE on Christmas Eve. “We continue to take things day by day – she remains in the NICU where doctors are tracking her progress.” Read more

Can you imagine if your son was taken from you? David Goldman has been living this nightmare for the last five years. But, just in time for Christmas 2009, father and son were reunited at long last on Dec. 24. The very public, international saga began in 2004, when David Goldman’s wife, Bruna Bianchi, took their son, Sean, to her native country of Brazil for a vacation. She then divorced David and re-married a prominent Brazilian lawyer, refusing to send Sean back to the United States. David fought, but ultimately lost the case. Read more
