Is there anything more romantic than falling in love in Italy, a country known for its passione? (That’s Italian for passion, FYI)

Amanda Seyfried, 24, does just that in her latest flick, Letters to Juliet. With Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” playing dreamily in the background, Amanda’s character, Sophie, travels to Verona, Italy — the home of star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet.

In the film, Sophie not only helps a stranger rekindle a lost romance, but falls in love herself, too!

Unfortunately, a happy ending won’t be coming any time soon; the movie isn’t scheduled to hit the big screen until May 7, 2010. But just remember, everyone, good things come to those who wait — even with love!
