Most celebrities who become famous at 15 want to spend their money on a new sports car, tons of video games, and a private jet.  Not Justin Bieber! He tells The New York Times, “I grew up with not a lot of money. We never owned a house. I want to buy my mom a house.”

Even though Justin is the hottest thing in pop music right now, he’s still about putting in the effort! “The harder you work, the more successful you can be,” he says. “This is just the beginning for me.”

And we hope we don’t the end any time soon! Bieber is signed with music mogul L.A. Reid on Island Def Jam, and works closely with Usher to perfect his sound and his image.  Justin even has Usher’s former assistant Ryan Goode on hand as “swagger coach,”  who helps the heartthrob with “sharpening his moves, his attitude and his wardrobe.”

But despite the celebrity entourage and promises of buying his mother a house, he still gets treated like a normal 15-year-old. At one point during the interview, Justin’s mom chased him through a hotel lobby shouting, “Justin needs to stop or he’s losing that phone.  Don’t let him on the elevator, Kenny, unless he gets off that phone.”
