Katy Perry Spills On Russell Brand: ‘I Need A Man Who Tells Me, The Party’s Over!’
Sultry and newly engaged, Katy Perry opens up to Glamour magazine about her relationship with reformed bad boy Russell Brand! And to clear up any rumors, Katy CONFIRMS to the magazine, she is definitely engaged!
Katy spills: “When [Russell] was filming Get Him to the Greek, I did a cameo with him. My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I’m happy — I get a bit childlike.”
“I’m excited to find a partner who can just be my teammate,” she reveals. “And there’s got to be respect. For me, that’s hard because it’s easy for me to steamroll guys. I need a man who tells me the party’s over, that it’s time to go home, because [we] have to work in the morning.” And while Russell used to be a hard party-boy, he has since cleaned up his ways. Maybe he’s even a good influence on Katy?
But let’s not forget about the ladies in Katy’s life! The “I Kissed A Girl” songstress tells the mag, which hits newsstands Jan. 12, “I have a soft spot for women — I’m not afraid of it. Some women walk into the room, and they’re so beautiful and you’re like, ‘I wanna smell you,’ you know? I have certain girlfriends who I just think are the most angelic, beautiful creatures. And if any of my boyfriends ever fail me, I’ll turn to them!”
