You can actually listen to the first-hand account of what happened during Tiger’s Thanksgiving accident — the night that kick-started his whole sordid Tiger Tale.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has just released the official police radio transmissions from Tiger Woods’ now infamous SUV crash on the early morning of Nov. 27. Hear it here!
In the new audio, which was given to a local Florida news station, obtained by ClickOrlando.com and posted online Jan. 7, officers can be heard responding to the scene. “Be advised, the vehicle hit the pole. The person’s on the ground,” one female dispatcher says in the 3:52-long recording.
“The patient’s being taken to health central,” she adds about the 34-year-old now-disgraced athlete.
Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, 30 — who reportedly was also on the scene and told officers she tried to help her husband out of the car by smashing the windows — is not referenced on the tape.

Well, that was smart…publish the guy’s home address? Only in FL. I work in law enf…and this is a big blunder, opens up all kinds of avenues for potential mischief and lawsuits…very unprofessional and IMHO as an officer of the law, unethical. You’d find that the majority of good cops in this country would agree with me. They’d also agree with the “only in FL” comment as well. While I have my own PERSONAL opinion of Mr Woods’ behavior just like anyone else is entitled to have…from the professional standpoint, you simply do not disclose personal info like that, esp when NO CRIMINAL WRONG DOING was found and NO CHARGES WERE BROUGHT. Shame on Orange County SD.
