News Flash! John Krasinski Gets Behind the Camera to Direct ‘The Office’
My, my, my John: you ARE multi-talented, and it isn’t just your fiancée, Emily Blunt, who thinks so!
If we looked up the word “multi-tasker” in the dictionary, we’d probably find John Krasinksi’s photo next to the definition. In addition to planning his wedding to Emily Blunt, 26, playing Meryl Streep’s son-in-law to-be in It’s Complicated plus his 9-5 (ish) gig as the loveable Jim Halpert on The Office, John, 30, is taking on yet another role: director.
The adorably goofy star, who made his directorial debut with the 2009 film Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, is directing an episode of his hit NBC show.
His Office Co-star Mindy Kaling tweeted today, Jan. 7, “John’s directing this week. Very funny when Jim Halpert yells ‘cut!’ at the end of a scene.”
We wonder if this means that Jim’s unwilling subordinate, Dwight, is going to be put in his place this week?
