When country cutie Taylor Swift arrived at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 6 she gave us a serious case of déjà vu. It’s because the Favorite Female Artist award winner wore the exact same style to the 2009 Country Music Awards! We don’t blame you, Taylor. The tucked-under updo looks age-appropriately sexy – perfect for a night when you knew you’d run into your ex, Favorite Breakout Movie Actor award winner, Taylor Lautner.
Jemma Muradian, Taylor’s Country Music Awards hairstylist tells us how she did Taylor’s ‘do and how you can do it too!
- “I wrapped strands of her hair around a 1 inch curling iron starting about 2 inches away from her scalp all the way down to the ends.”
- “I loosened up all the curls by shaking her hair upside down and gently brushing them out with my fingers.”
- “Then, I separated her hair into three sections. I rolled the back section up underneath itself like rolling a piece of paper to create a faux bob. Then, I used a large bobby pin to secure it. I did the same thing on the both sides after that and sprayed it all with hairspray.” - Marta Topran
