Really, Ashlee, how can you kiss your hubby’s mouth knowing that his teeth haven’t been properly cleaned in NINE YEARS?

Never mind getting your pearly whites cleaned on the regular every six months – until Jan. 7, 2010 rocker Pete Wentz hadn’t been to a dental practitioner for nearly 10 years. GROSS!

Although you might envision blackened teeth, serious stink breath and perhaps a few snaggleteeth, the 30-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist was given a clean bill of dental health on Thursday. He tweeted, “dear mom, i went to the dentist for the first time in 9 years and they gave my chompers an ‘A’.”

N-A-S-T-Y. We can’t believe his wife of nearly two years, Ashlee Simpson, 25, even sleeps near Pete, never mind kisses him! We can only hope the couple’s one-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli, doesn’t make the same mouth missteps as his dad.

Fess up, Mr. Wentz. Why were you scared of the big, bad dentist? Were you afraid he’d blow your teeth down?
