EXCLUSIVE! Madonna & Sean Penn! Their Three & A Half Hour Dinner Date!
Could there be a romantic reconciliation in the works for the Material Girl and her First Husband? The former married couple had a very long dinner a deux, Jan. 7, at romantic two Michelin-star NYC restaurant, Adour, in the St. Regis Hotel.
The paparazzi-hating pair, who were married on Aug. 16, 1985 — Madonna‘s 27th birthday — later divorced on Sept. 14, 1989, after a tempestuous relationship, but remained on friendly, though not best-friendy terms.
Now, girlfriends, take note – both are finally single again! Madonna’s divorce from Guy Ritchie became final in Dec. 2008, and Sean‘s wife, Robin Wright, filed for divorce on Aug 12, 2009, after a 20-year relationship and kids.
So if sparks weren’t flying at all, would the two REALLY have lingered for over three and a half hours dining on Chef Alain Ducasse’s butter poached Maine lobster, $48.00, or Grenedin of milk fed veal, $48.00? Hmm! Could be interesting — Madonna loves a strong man, especially a man who directs movies! Madonna’s ex, Guy, may have a huge hit with Sherlock Holmes, but Sean Penn did get two Oscar nominations for his film, Into The wild, and he’s got two Best Actor Oscars on his shelf. Not bad -! Surely he’s got a lot more to say than someone named Jesus!
