Leno VS Conan — It’s A Late Night War Of Words! Who Do You Think Is Winning?
Jay compares NBC to Jon & Kate, and Conan tells kids they can do whatever they want “unless Jay Leno wants to do it, too”! Meeowww!
We’ve been watching the feud between NBC hosts Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno over the future of their late night shows, and it’s getting hot! Jay took a shot at Conan on his Wednesday night show, saying “Conan O’Brien, understandably, is very upset. He had a statement in the paper yesterday — Conan said NBC has only gave him seven months to make his show work. When I heard that … seven months! How did he get that deal?” Leno continued his jabs at the network by joking, “Welcome to NBC, America’s most dysfunctional TV family and you thought the Gosselins were screwed up!”
Conan, who would have to cede his 11:30 AM slot to Leno, took his own pot shot at Jay, saying, “And I just want to say to the kids out there watching: You can do anything you want in life,” he said. “Unless Jay Leno wants to do it, too.”
