The News Is True! Sarah Jessica Parker Will Design For Halston!!

Between a slew of fragrances, her busy career on-screen, and now her new design role, SJP sure is a multi-tasking mom!

Just yesterday we heard Sarah Jessica Parker was going to take on a creative role at Halston, and although, at first, the brand declined to comment they finally confirmed the news! SJP is set to take on an active design role— could it be the role of creative director for Halston Heritage, the just-launched secondary line? After seeing Sarah wear a white Halston Heritage dress on the set of the Sex and the City sequel, I wouldn’t be surprised! The first thing that comes to mind when I hear of a celeb-turned-creative-director is Lindsay Lohan at Ungaro— but judging by her red carpet looks, and her alter ego’s, (Carrie Bradshaw), famous fashion sense, I think it’s safe to say Sarah’s collection will be more well-received. I don’t know what to expect! Will the line be more conducive to SJP’s mom on-the-go lifestyle, or will it be fabulous and over the top ala Carrie Bradshaw? What do you think?
