Even though her comedy is nominated for a Golden Globe, the Colombian model-turned-actress would still love to be on her competitor’s show!

ABC’s Golden Globe-nominated “Modern Family” is being hailed the best new comedy of the year, and we agree! But Sofía Vergara — who has a leading role on on the hot show playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Ed O’Neill‘s much younger Colombian bombshell wife — says she still dreams of being as funny as her Golden Globe competitor, Tina Fey.

“[If I were to guest star on any show,] I would love to be on ’30 Rock,’ for example,” Sofía, 37, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Access Hollywood’s Golden Globe gifting lounge Jan. 16.

So what kind of character would Sofía want to play on the award-winning show?

“I don’t know,” the actress told us after perusing New Balance’s Fierce Trax running shoe collection. “I wish I was as funny as Tiny Fey.”
