Sara Canning, one of the stars of the hit show, The Vampire Diaries looked great in a French Connection dress while celebrating her co-star Nina Dobrev’s 21st birthday in Las Vegas on Jan. 16. We were just dying to know how Sara manages to keep her skin looking so great with her grueling filming schedule. “I never leave the house without moisturizer – I love Philosophy Hope in a Jar,” she says.

• Sara always wears: “Blush or a bit of bronzer, as I’m verrrrry fair.”
• Sara can’t stop buying: “Lipgloss. But then I forget about them because I’ve always used Vaseline on my lips and it never fails. Oh, and Burt’s Bees lip balm. I will turn around and come back to the house if I forget that.”
• Her makeup philosophy: “I am definitely a bare-faced kind of girl, but I like to experiment. I’m lucky I work with such talented make-up artists on the set of The Vampire Diaries, so I can learn from the best.”
