Emile de Ravin on Her ‘Remember Me’ Co-Star Robert Pattinson: ‘We Had Chemistry!’
We just BET you felt fireworks while working with Rob, Emile. Who WOULDN’T spontaneously combust from such close proximity to the Twilight hottie?
Emile de Ravin thinks she knows how she landed the plum role of Robert Pattinson’s love interest in Remember Me, out March 12. “We had [chemistry]. It is not an easy thing to come by” the actress, 28, told MTV of their first audition together, adding that she pretty much got the job that very day.
Is that just wishful thinking, Em? No offense, but Rob, 23, would probably have chemistry with a paper bag!
So here’s the deal: if you want REAL chemistry, then re-watch Rob’s most famous flick, Twilight, or wait for the series’ third installment, Eclipse, out June 30. But Twi-hards, don’t expect Remember Me to be Twilight 2.0. Emile says you’ll just be setting yourself up for disappointment.
“Twilight and Remember Me couldn’t be more different. Not so many similarities between [Robert’s Twilight character] Edward Cullen and [his Remember Me character] Tyler.”
Sadness! Will you watch Rob do his thing on the big screen when he’s NOT playing Hollywood’s hottest vampire?
