EXCLUSIVE: America Ferrera ‘I’d Love to Work With Blake Lively Again!’
Would you love to see these two ‘Sisters’ team up on the big (or small) screens together?
America Ferrera and Blake Lively haven’t co-starred together since appearing in 2008’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, but America, for one, is all for a big-screen reunion with her leggy blond pal.
“I’d love to work with Blake again!” America, 25, gushed to HollywoodLife.com at Diesel’s Lia Sophia Lounge at the Lift Jan. 22. She added of her 22-year-old bestie, “[Unfortunately] legally, I don’t think I’m allowed to!”
Sad, but true. The girls DO star on rival networks: America appears as fashion-victim Betty Suarez on ABC’s Ugly Betty, while Blake plays Upper East Side society princess Serena van der Woodsen on CW’s teen drama Gossip Girl.
Still, America isn’t going to let some silly old shows get in the way of her friendship. “We’re great friends,” she assured us staunchly.
Amen, sister. Day jobs be damned: nothing is more important than the “Sisterhood.”
