EXCLUSIVE! Ashanti Has Her Eye On Drake: ‘I’m A Big Fan!’
He’s one of the few rappers she hasn’t worked with… yet!
Though Ashanti, 29, claimed she had no Grammy predictions when we caught up with her at OK! magazine’s 3rd Annual Midnight Grammy Brunch on Jan. 30, she did mention one artist she loves: actor-turned-rapper Drake! “I think Drake has been doing an amazing job,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I’m a big fan.” She even said it would be “kind of cool” to collaborate with the former Degrassi: The Next Generation star. We smell a hit!
Ashanti (pictured above with Natalie Cole) also dished to us about her career plans for 2010. Not only is her new album coming out this year, which includes a song with Dr. Dre, but she also signed a production deal with Revelry Productions to executive produce her own TV show! “That’s all I can say for now,” she told us, “but I’m really excited.”
