Carrie Underwood Is Going to Sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIV

We love that one of the biggest country stars on the planet is going to belt out the Star Spangled Banner on Feb. 7!

Carrie Underwood’s year just keeps on getting better and better. First, the country cutie got engaged to her hockey player love Mike Fisher. Now, the lucky lady has been given the coveted task of singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami Feb. 7 when the Indianapolis Colts take on the New Orleans Saints. The 26-year-old songbird – who won Fox’s vocal competition in 2005 – is just the second ‘Idol’ to have the honor of singing at the Super Bowl. Jennifer Hudson, 28, performed in 2009. Read more

What Breakup? Angelina Jolie’s Dad, Jon Voight, Says Rumors of a Brangelina Split Are ‘Nonsense!’

Father knows best – and he says Brangelina are staying together!

Here’s just one more piece of confirmation that Brad Pitt, 46, and Angelina Jolie, 34, have not split, as HollywoodLife.com first reported – Angelina’s dad, Jon Voight, 71, says the claims are ridiculous. “It’s nonsense!” the actor told Access Hollywood adding that the rumors are “all made up stuff.” Read more

Anne Hathaway we’ve always known that you were beyond talented, but it took winning Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award Jan. 28 for us to realize how funny you are! We usually see you in roles that are quiet, and nerdy but you really came out of your shell during the ceremony. Harvard’s drama troupe completely roasted you for past movie roles like Princess Diaries, Devil Wears Prada, and Get Smart, but you laughed right along with them — even making fun of your boobs! At the end of the 15 minute stage performance you wowed us with a remarkable speech, and it was a slapstick poem!
